Our feet sink deeper into the sand as we take every new step. You begin to lean on my shoulders. And I feel like I’m dragging you along with me. You’re talking like insane. But I want you to sink into deeper levels of irreversible insanity. I look at the distant waves, layers of white foam emerging out of the sea pitch dark, and then vanishing into the same. And yet again, I look at you. You’ve almost lost it. What could have made you so drunk? Is it the alcohol, or is it something else? Is it me? Can you even walk like a man? Can you even find home?

see.. now i would look at it from a realistic point of view... 9 out of 10 women think that they have made the men go weak on their knees and their men remain 'high' just because of them. I am not completely denying this, it happens but not as frequently as women like to believe. I wonder why we keep ourselves in the illusion that we are oh-so special.
I'd take a second look at him...

Nevertheless, very beautifully written :-)

i think i agree with Raaji and the same transition i see in the words....

The first part before 'a second look' creating and supporting that illusion and after that finally knowing or maybe doubting the first part...

beautifully written...
